Steven Yong has been involved in Performance Management engagement and Business Intelligence Projects for many large local and foreign companies. His consultancy focuses in Organization Performance Management and Business Intelligence strategies has helped many organizations gained competitive edge and improved effectiveness in their respective industries. Among some of his clientele to-date are Amway, Pfizer, Ministry of Health, Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board, LKIM, Hicom etc.

Prior to starting AccelTeam, he has many years of experience in delivery Business Process Management projects across various industries in Singapore and the region. Steven was a Neptune Orient Line (NOL) scholar, graduated with Bachelor in Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland and attained Merit Award from Singapore Polytechnic. He started his career in 1992 in NOL, and later held several key positions, including the Business Manager of Winsoft Pte Ltd and Country Manager of TBI Finesse.

In 1998, Steven founded AccelTeam with a mission to provide solutions in Performance Management and Business Intelligence to help improve organization alignment that leads to value creation. To-date, AccelTeam has achieved many remarkable results though his years of leadership ie became first runner-up for Venture 2001 competition, expanded its market to the Asia Pacific region, attained MSC status in 2002, awarded the Microsoft BI Partner of the year for 2005, Best Local CPM Provider by IDC 2007 and most importantly benefited many organizations across various industries under his leadership.
