Steven Yong Managing Director

Steven Yong has been involved in Performance Management engagement and Business Intelligence Projects for many large local and foreign companies. His consultancy focuses in Organization Performance Management and Business Intelligence strategies has helped many organizations gained competitive edge and improved effectiveness in their respective industries. Among some of his clientele to-date are Amway, Pfizer, Ministry of Health, Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board, LKIM, Hicom etc.

Prior to starting AccelTeam, he has many years of experience in delivery Business Process Management projects across various industries in Singapore and the region. Steven was a Neptune Orient Line (NOL) scholar, graduated with Bachelor in Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland and attained Merit Award from Singapore Polytechnic. He started his career in 1992 in NOL, and later held several key positions, including the Business Manager of Winsoft Pte Ltd and Country Manager of TBI Finesse.

In 1998, Steven founded AccelTeam with a mission to provide solutions in Performance Management and Business Intelligence to help improve organization alignment that leads to value creation. To-date, AccelTeam has achieved many remarkable results though his years of leadership ie became first runner-up for Venture 2001 competition, expanded its market to the Asia Pacific region, attained MSC status in 2002, awarded the Microsoft BI Partner of the year for 2005, Best Local CPM Provider by IDC 2007 and most importantly benefited many organizations across various industries under his leadership.

Amrith Kandlur Director, Technology Platforms

Amrith Kandlur has over eighteen years of experience in Information Technology consulting specializing in Corporate Performance Management (CPM), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Enterprise Application Development and Project Management.

Prior to joining AccelTeam, Amrith served in various multinational organizations such as Kbase (M) Sdn Bhd, DALAS Technologies, British Aerospace Engineers, Hindustan Aeronautics (BAeHAL) and Asia Broadband Limited.

Coupled with his experience and industry knowledge, Mr. Amrith Kandlur has been involved in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing projects in various industry verticals such as Governments, FMCG, banking, telecommunications, Education and retail. Mr. Amrith Kandlur has been the brain behind the industry consulting pack “BizoDe” for industry verticals Framework initiatives.

Gerry Leong Director, Client Engagement

Gerry has over twenty years of work experience – started his career with Ernst & Young before moving into IT Solution Consulting till to-date. Gerry’s experiences (primarily ERM/ERP, CRM and BI related) over the years were moving through application and business consulting work , project management, pre-sales/solution architect, business development and people management role.

Over the past ten years, Gerry has been appointed executive leadership roles managing sales, marketing and leading new Go-To-Market strategies. He has regional exposure in ASEAN in the capacity as Professional Services Lead, managing services consulting team for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Gerry is a Bachelor of Business graduate, majoring in Finance and Accounts, and a Dean Commendation Award recipient. He is also a Chartered Accountant in Malaysia and an Australian CPA (ASCPA) member.

Lim Boon Sheng Innovation Director

Lim Boon Sheng has more than thirteen years of experience in IT industry, specializing in GIS, Remote Sensing, Business Intelligence, Location Intelligence Implementation and Project Management. He started his career as a GIS Engineer and Application Specialist, involved in various natural resources and environmental projects such as Hydrology & Hydraulic and Environmental Infrastructure using GIS and Remote Sensing technology between 2002 and 2005.

He has extensive exposure and experience in application development for disaster management modules (flood, landslide, oil spill, forest fire) for Airborne Remote Sensing programme and National Disaster Data and Information Management System from 2005 to 2007. Thereafter, he embarked on his career as Pre-Sales and Post Sales for Autodesk Geospatial products for more than 3 years, holds an Autodesk Certified Instructor and conducted more than 50 training sessions for various private and local agencies like Tenaga Berhad, DBKL, MBPJ, MACGDI, JPBD, Putrajaya Holdings, and Politeknik MARA.

He graduated from University of Technology Malaysia in 2002 and holds a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Geoinformatics.

Ang Kho Wei Consulting Director

Every day Kho Wei is finding answers in data to business questions for coffee. Graduated with a business degree from Monash University, Australia, he is also a trained business analyst, a PMP project manager, and certified trainer with the Human Resource Development Fund of Malaysia. Kho Wei leverages his ten year experience in implementing Business Intelligence and Management Information Systems to drive business consulting and training/coaching services on the use of analytics and data science.

As data science is really about the science, he aims to make the practice of analytics-driven performance management to complement business acumen with data understanding, measurable outcomes, and repeatable methodologies.
Kho Wei is always looking for opportunities to explore data, asking questions, and doing “what if” analysis. With data and analytical results, informed conclusions and recommendations can be articulated.

Lee Choo Har Operations Director

Lee is a professional with over 25 years of experiences in the high-tech sector, running company-wide operational functions and leading large scale projects. In these senior positions, Lee is the steward of the company’s human resources policies, programs, processes and practices.

Lee managed the implementation of business guidelines and strategies; sorting HR problems; working with other department heads to enhance functional effectiveness and efficiency; talent acquisition and retention; keeping employees motivated; rewards management; assist in the strategy development and execution; strategize project deliveries; and working on legal related matter with appropriate parties.

She is committed to adding value to teams and organizations. Lee holds a Masters of Engineering Sciences/Remote Sensing and Bachelor of Land Surveying degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Lee Choo Har joined Accelteam in 2009 as Operations Director. Lee portfolio focus on Finance, Human Capital, Administration, Legal and Corporate Services.
